HC Deb 26 July 1926 vol 198 cc1679-80
24. Mr. T. WILLIAMS

asked the Minister of Health how many women over 70 years of age have applied for old age pensions during the first six months of 1926; and how many have been granted and how many refused?

The FINANCIAL SECRETARY to the TREASURY (Mr. Ronald McNeill)

I regret that the information is not available.

Mr. WILLIAMS

Can the right hon. Gentleman say whether the information can be obtained at an early date?

Mr. McNEILL

I am afraid not, because the figures of men and women are not kept.
