§ 51. Mr. H. WILLIAMSasked the Prime Minister whether, in view of the public interest in the matter, he is prepared to recommend the appointment of a Royal Commission to inquire into questions relating to leasehold tenure?
§ The PRIME MINISTERTwo select Committees have already reported upon this subject, and the facts are well known to the Government. In these circumstances I do not think that any useful purpose would be served by the appointment of a Royal Commission. The whole question is at present under consideration.
