HC Deb 20 July 1926 vol 198 c1043
57. Colonel DAY

asked the Minister of Health what steps are being taken by his Department with a view to the greater utilisation of the opportunities provided by the tuberculosis dispensaries

Sir K. WOOD

My right hon. Friend is not clear what further use of the tuberculosis dispensaries the hon. Member has in mind. These dispensaries are provided by the local authorities, and my Department have always encouraged their full use as centres for diagnosis, observation and special forms of treatment.

Colonel DAY

Would the hon. Gentleman say what steps have been taken to inform the public of the advantages of these dispensaries?

Sir K. WO0D

I think the hon. and gallant Member should put that question down.
