§ Sir H. BARNSTON (for Sir W. JOYNSON-HICKS)116,000 lbs. of raw opium were imported into this country from India in 1925. 16,000 lbs. Were exported during the same year. The Indian opium retained in this country is used for the manufacture of morphine and other drugs and in medicinal preparations.
