§ The PRESIDENT of the BOARD of TRADE (Sir Philip Cunliffe-Lister)The official returns of the values of goods exported from the United Kingdom (including re-exports) represent the declared value of the goods "free on board" ship at the port of exportation, and should, therefore, cover all charges up to the placing of the goods on shipboard, and no charges in respect of subsequent handling, conveyance, etc.
