§ Sir W. JOYNSON-HICKSThere were 278 aliens recommended for deportation in 1925, and of these 203 were in that year sent out of the country. The rest are either not yet ready for deportation or are still under consideration. I cannot give figures in answer to the last part of the question, but I can assure my hon. and gallant Friend that I take all possible steps in proper cases to rid the country of undesirable aliens.
