§ 36. Mr. TOWNENDasked the Minister of Health what decision he has come to respecting excepted persons over 45 years of age who desire to become voluntary contributors under the Widows,' Orphans' and Old Age Contributory Pensions Act, but who, under the conditions laid down in the Act, will only receive pensions ranging from 1s. to 10s. per week according to age of entry; and what modifications he proposes, if any?
§ Sir K. WOODAmendments in the draft Regulations increasing the available benefits in certain eases have been agreed to by my right hon. Friends the Minister 40 of Health and the Chancellor of the Exchequer. The amended Regulations will be published very shortly.
