As regards the second part of the question, since, as I am informed, the Church of England and the Church of Ireland are in communion, I see no reason for amending the Regulations as suggested.

§ Sir L. WORTHINGTON-EVANSI am not quite sure that the opinion of the War Office would be of any value in that matter.
