HC Deb 25 February 1926 vol 192 cc701-2
86. Mr. THURTLE

asked the Minister of Health, with regard to the by-laws submitted to him by the London County Council as to houses let in lodgings, if he will suggest to the London County Council that these by-laws should be modified in accordance with the suggestions of the conference of representatives of borough councils which have already been forwarded to his Department?

Sir K. WOOD

Before I confirm the proposed by-laws, any objections will be carefully considered. But I have already informed some of the borough councils concerned that there are some suggestions which I cannot see my way to support.
