59. Mr. ROBINSONasked the Minister of Health how many houses have been erected in the Elland Division of the West Riding of Yorkshire under the Housing Acts; how many are available for letting; and what is the number of houses approved, but not yet erected?
§ Sir K. WOOD410 houses have been erected under the various Acts in the districts of the local authorities in question; the 174 houses erected by the local authorities are available for letting, but I am not in a position to say how many 699 of the 236 houses erected by private enterprise are available in addition. Approval has been given to the erection of a further 423 houses which have not yet been completed.
