Mr. TAYLORasked the Minister of Labour if the reports of the investigations recently carried out by his Department with reference to the establishment of trade boards in the drapery, meat, grocery and catering trades are now available for Members of the House; whether they are to be printed for the information of the public; and, if so, on what date will they be on sale?
§ Sir A. STEEL-MAITLANDAs I informed the hon. Member for East Ham South (Mr. Barnes) on the 18th February, in the absence of unforeseen delays in printing, the four Reports should be issued in the course of next month. They will be placed on sale as soon as they are printed.
§ Mr. TAYLORCan the right hon. Gentleman say whether there will be a detailed Report, with the details of the evidence
§ Sir A. STEEL-MAITLANDIt will not give details of all the evidence, but I trust it will give all the evidence which hon. Members will need in order to come to a conclusion on the matter.
