The numbers of cows and heifers in England, Scotland and Wales on 4th June, 1925, which had had one or more calves were

England 2,034,162
Scotland 398,124
Wales 300,556
The tabulation of the returns of the production of milk, which were collected last year, is not yet complete, but it is hoped to publish the results in the course of the year.
