HC Deb 18 February 1926 vol 191 c2115
65. Mr. W. M. WATSON

asked the President of the Board of Education if he is aware that a number of children who are being transferred from Rosyth to southern dockyard towns have won by examination free secondary education; and will he endeavour to provide for the free entry of these children into similar schools in the area to which they have been transferred?

Duchess of ATHOLL

My right hon. Friend has no power to require schools in the towns concerned to admit pupils transferred from Rosyth, but if the hon. Member will send me further particulars I will make inquiries.
