HC Deb 18 February 1926 vol 191 cc2109-10
43. Mr. TREVELYAN

asked the President of the Board of Education whether the Croydon local education authority has included in its programme provision for the erection of an elementary school in the east ward of Croydon, known as the Long Lane school?

Duchess of ATHOLL

The Croydon Authority's programme, under Circular 1358, has not yet been received in my Department. Sketch plans of a school for about 800 children in Long Lane were returned to the authority with the Board's comments last April, since when the authority have not communicated further with my right hon. Friend on the subject.
