§ Sir N. GRATTAN-DOYLEMay I draw your attention, Mr. Speaker, to 1931 the increasing number of Supplementary Questions asked in this House, and how very unfair it is to those who have questions later on the Order Paper?
§ Mr. SPEAKERI wish all Members would take it to heart that, if they occupy too much time in Supplementaries—I have always been myself against any hard and fast rule—they are depriving their colleagues of their proper opportunities.
§ Mr. MACLEANIs not the proper thing that Ministers to whom questions are addressed should give satisfactory answers?
§ Mr. SPEAKERI do not remember an occasion when Ministers' answers were always considered satisfactory.
