asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether any proposals have been made recently by the Soviet Government for the settlement of claims of British subjects in connection with confiscation of properties or repudiated debts?

No, Sir. No proposals of this nature have been made by the Soviet Government to His Majesty's Government.
