HC Deb 17 February 1926 vol 191 c1902
11. Commander FANSHAWE

asked the. Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs if he will make a statement as to the progress of any negotiations that are being carried on by His Majesty's Minister at Copenhagen with the Danish Government regarding the fees charged for licences to foreign commercial travellers in Denmark and whether any negotiations are in progress with the Norwegian, Swedish and Finnish Governments on the same subjects?

Sir A. CHAMBERLAIN

His Majesty's Minister at Copenhagen has for some time past been in communication with the Danish Government on this subject, and has lately made renewed representations, to which an answer is now being awaited. Representations have also been made to the Norwegian Government, who have not yet replied. It has not, so far, been considered necessary to make similar representations to the Governments of Sweden or Finland, but appropriate action will be considered if there is found in practice to be a real cause for complaint.
