§ Sir A. STEEL-MAITLANDThe total cost of administration of the Unemployment Insurance Acts during the financial year ended 31st March, 1925, was £4,494,760. This sum, which was repaid by the Unemployment Fund to the Exchequer, includes the cost of the Employment Exchanges so far as they deal with insured persons.
