Mr. HARMSWORTHasked the Secretary for Mines how many additional coal miners have secured employment since the coal subsidy came into operation and whether he will give figures showing production and export of coal for each month of subsidy, for each of the equivalent number of months preceding the subsidy, and for each of the months of the year 1924–25 corresponding to the months of subsidy?

§ The particulars are as follow:
§ At the end of January, 1926, there were 58,600 more wage-earners employed in the coal-mining industry than at the beginning of August, 1925.
