Mr. GUINNESSI have been asked to reply. So far as I am aware, there is no estimate of the number of owners of land in Great Britain later than that contained in the Report referred to in my hon. Friend's question. The answer to the last part of the question is in the negative.

Mr. GUINNESSNo, I do not think there is at our disposal any further information. My hon. and gallant Friend will remember that the original inquiries took many years, and proved to be very unreliable owing to duplications.
