§ 49. Sir W. de FRECEasked the Prime Minister whether, before reaching a decision in respect of the cessation or the continuance of the Rent Restriction Acts, he proposes to hold a public inquiry into the operation of these Measures; and, if so, when he proposes to set it on foot?
§ The PRIME MINISTERI do not propose to hold any such inquiry at present. I would point out that the existing restrictions continue in force until December, 1927.
