§ 60. Captain STREATFEILDalso asked bow many applications for drainage grants were received from farmers in Kirkcudbrightshire and Wigtownshire during the year 1925; whether any of these were rejected; and, if so, how many?
§ Sir J. GILMOURI have been asked to reply. The numbers of such applications received from farmers in Kirkcudbrightshire and Wigtownshire respectively were 63 and 79. Of these nine from Kirkcudbrightshire and nine from Wigtownshire have been rejected.
