Hughes, No. 150,165, D Battery, has had an operation in the War Memorial Hospital, Newton-le-Willows, for the removal of bone from his left leg; that he is likely to undergo another operation; and that these operations are stated by the doctor to be the result of war wounds and whether, as an application was made by him for a pension, he will state on what grounds it was refused?
