asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether any representations have been made by the French Government in regard to the new French Rents Bill: and, if so, with what result?

His Majesty's Ambassador in Paris is being instructed to claim for British subjects in France national treatment as regards the benefits which are granted to French citizens by the new French Rent Bill from which certain classes of foreigners are excluded.
