Mr. PENNYasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether the committee appointed to investigate in regard to Imperial contribution for taxation purposes from the Channel Islands have yet reported; and whether it is intended to place the findings of the committee before this House for discussion?
§ Sir W. JOYNSON-HICKSI have been asked to reply. The Report of the committee has been submitted to the Lord Presidents and is now under consideration. I am not in a position to make any statement at present as to the publication of the Report, or the discussion of the recommendations of the committee.
