asked the Prime Minister whether he will consider the effect on the liberty of the subject imposed by an ever-increasing burden of new legislation and will he use his influence to call a halt to the tendency?

The PRIME MINISTER

The programme of legislation outlined in the Speech from the Throne shows that the Government is fully alive to this as to other considerations.
