§ 7. Mr. VIANTasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies if he is satisfied with the work accomplished by the Board 2538 appointed, at a date prior to 1924, by the Governor of Kenya Colony and gazetted an Advisory Land Board; and whether he can state the number of times the Board has met?
§ Mr. AMERYI have seen the references to this Board which appeared in the local Press on the 17th September, 1924, and the 6th November last, but I have no further information. It would appear from the Press references that the Board was appointed for the specific purpose of dealing with a particular class of applications for land, but that its assistance was not found necessary, and that it never actually functioned.
