§ 51. Mr. RILEYasked the Minister of Health if he has received a Resolution from the Bootle Town Council protesting against the continual increases in the price of bricks and other building materials; and, if so, whether he is taking any action with reference thereto?
§ Sir K. WOODMy right hon. Friend has received a copy of the Resolution referred to by the hon. Member. The prices of building materials are being carefully watched by the Interdepartmental Committee which was appointed in 1923 for this purpose, and my right hon. Friend understands that the Committee propose shortly to issue a further Report.
