§ Viscount WOLMERThe agreement with the Marconi Company provides for the erection in this country on behalf of the Post Office of beam stations for communication with corresponding stations in Canada, Australia, South Africa and India. The stations for the Anglo- 1904 Canadian service are now operating; the stations for the Anglo-Australian service are undergoing preliminary trials and are expected to be ready for the, official tests in a few weeks; the stations for the Anglo-South African and Anglo-Indian services will, it is hoped, be completed early in the New Year.
