Resolution reported, That it is expedient to authorise the Treasury to guarantee the payment of the principal of, and the interest on, the following loans—

  1. (a) a loan to be raised by the Government of Palestine not exceeding an amount sufficient to raise four million five hundred thousand pounds; and
  2. (b) a loan to lie raised by the Governments of Kenya, Uganda, Northern Rhodesia, Nyasaland, or Tanganyika not exceeding an amount sufficient to raise ten million pounds;
and to chargo on the Consolidated Fluid any moneys required to fulfil any such guarantees as aforesaid.
