HC Deb 02 December 1926 vol 200 cc1379-80

I beg to ask leave to move the Adjournment of the House for the purpose of discussing a definite matter of urgent public importance, namely, "the dismissal of a postman at Tottenham without pension or gratuity."

The hon. and gallant Gentleman submitted his Motion to me. I am sorry it is not one I can put to the House. It appears to be a matter for legislation which cannot be dealt with under the Adjournment.
