§ Sir A. STEEL-MAITLANDAt 25th October, 1926, the total number of persons in the various branches of the engineering industry recorded at Employment Exchanges in Great Britain as unemployed, was 160,427, or 16.2 per cent., of the estimated number of insured persons in that industry.
