asked the Secretary for Mines the amount of subvention paid to the coalowners for each county in Great Britain?

I regret that figures for separate counties are not available, and would be laborious to obtain. I will circulate in the OFFICIAL REPORT an estimate of the total subvention in each of the colliery districts.
