§ 32. Mr. H. WILLIAMSasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer the number of persons assessed for 1925–26 in respect of earned income and the total earned income of the persons assessed, and the amount of reduction in assessment resulting from the allowance of one-sixth in respect of earned income?
§ Mr. McNEILLI regret that I am unable to give numbers of persons in receipt of earned income for any year, and statistics of the amount of income assessed for the year 1925–26 will not be available for some considerable time.
