HC Deb 27 April 1926 vol 194 c1848
77. Mr. HARRISON

asked the Minister of Agriculture whether, seeing that the fishing industry, both in the interests of the nation and of the industry itself, requires stimulating, he will consider arranging a series of wireless lectures by his experts to bring before the nation the value of fish as a foodstuff'?

The MINISTER of AGRICULTURE (Mr. Guinness)

Yes, Sir, I shall be glad to try to arrange suitable wireless talks on fish and fisheries.

Mr. WOMERSLEY

Is the right hon. Gentleman aware that the fishing industry would regard a speech by the right hon. Gentleman, broadcast, as a very valuable asset?

Mr. GUINNESS

I think experts will be able to give them better value than I should.
