Mr. ROSEasked the President of the Board of Trade if he is aware that the proposal to abolish the tuition and examination centre for marine engineers at Aberdeen, and transfer its functions to Leith, will cause inconvenience and expense to young engineers seeking to qualify for certificates; that the economy likely to be effected will be disproportionate to the difficulties it will cause; and will he, in view of the circumstances, reconsider the matter?
