§ Earl WINTERTONA notification published on 23rd March legalises the emigration of Indian families (not exceeding 500, or 1,500 individuals in all) to British Guiana for the purpose of unskilled work, with effect from a date to be agreed upon with the Governor of the Colony, and on certain terms and conditions. The text of the notification, including the detailed terms, is too long to reproduce, but I am sending the hon. Member a copy of it.
