Mr. FENBYasked the President of the Board of Trade whether he is aware that the delay in making known the recommendations of the Committee which inquired into the application of the worsted textile trade for a protective duty on foreign imports under the safeguarding of industries procedure is causing considerable dislocation throughout the textile industry of the West Riding of 1000 Yorkshire; and whether, in view of this fact, he will state what are the intentions of the Government with regard to this question?

Gentleman think it fair to withhold a statement as to what the intentions of the Government are, and will he name a. date when he will make a statement?
