asked the Minister of Health if he is in a, position to state the number of families of four or more persons in Shoreditch who are living in homes of one room; the total number of such persons; and the percentage such number bears to the population of the borough?

Mr. CHAMBERLAIN

According to the Census of 1921, the number of private families of four or more persons occupying one room per family in Shoreditch Metropolitan Borough was 649; the population therein was 2,881, representing 2.76 per cent. of the total borough population.
