§ The PARLIAMENTARY SECRETARY to the MINISTRY of HEALTH (Sir Kingsley Wood)The Committee to which the hon. Member refers has been appointed to consider and report on any scheme which may be submitted to them for special assistance from the Exchequer to local authorities in necessitous urban and quasi-urban areas. The Committee have already met and will proceed as expeditiously as possible to carry out their terms of reference. The Committee cannot yet say whether they will find it necessary to present an Interim Report.
