asked the Secretary of State for War if he can give any figures regarding the recruiting for the Territorial Army in each of the preceding 12 months; and whether he is satisfied with the progress made?

With the hon. and gallant Member's permission, I will circulate in the OFFICIAL REPORT a statement showing the number of recruits who have enlisted in the Territorial Army during each of the preceding 12 months. The progress is fairly satisfactory.
