§ 55. Lieut.-Commander KENWORTHYasked the Prime Minister whether he has further considered the possibility of a new Disarmament Conference; whether he has had any communications with the leaders of other Governments on this subject; and, in particular, whether he contemplates the possibility of another conference on naval armaments?
Mr. CHAMBERLAINI would refer the hon. and gallant Gentleman to the answer given on the 18th November to the hon. Member for Wolverhampton East (Mr. G. Thorne).
§ Lieut. - Commander KENWORTHYMay I ask, arising out of that, if the right hon. Gentleman is aware that this matter was being considered when first he took office, and now, as nearly a year has passed, can he not report any progress?
Mr. CHAMBERLAINI do not see how that can possibly arise out of the answer 908 to which I have referred the hon. and gallant Gentleman, as to which, I think, he is not informed.
