The whole question of the supply and distribution of electricity is under consideration, and considerable progress has been made, but I am not yet in a position to add anything to the answer given on the 24th February in reply to a question by the hon. Member for Newport. I would, however, remind the hon. Member that the Government are giving financial assistance, through the Unemployment Grants Committee, to electrical schemes which are being expedited for the purpose of relieving unemployment
