asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether any agreement has been concluded between His Majesty's Government and the Government of Rumania for the repayment over a term of years of the relief and reconstruction bonds owing to Great Britain and the Dominions; and, if so, whether he will give the terms of the agreement?

His Majesty's Government and the Commonwealth of Australia have agreed to accept repayment of the amounts of £2,200,000 and £120,000 due to them respectively under the Rumanian relief bonds which matured on the 1st January, 1925, by capital instalments spread over a period of 15 years commencing in 1930, with interest at 5 per cent. as from 1st January, 1925, on the amount from time to time outstanding.
