The FINANCIAL SECRETARY to the TREASURY (Mr. Guinness)The Chancellor of the Exchequer indicated in his Budget speech that he was acting in close collaboration with the Dominions, several of whom have taken action simultaneously with ourselves. I understand from Press reports that the return to the gold standard is widely approved in the Overseas Dominions.
