HC Deb 04 May 1925 vol 183 c566
25. Mr. SNELL

asked the Secretary of State for the Colonies whether the policy for the education of natives in British tropical African Dependencies, as presented by the Advisory Committee on Native Education in tropical Africa in the Memorandum to Parliament (Command Paper 2374), has the approval of His Majesty's Government; and whether he is prepared to take steps to ensure effect being given to the policy therein outlined?

Mr. AMERY

Yes, Sir. I have already communicated the Memorandum to the Governments of the tropical African Colonies, Protectorates and mandated territories, with the request that it may be adopted by the education authorities there for their guidance in dealing with the problems of native education.
