asked the Secretary of State for the Colonies whether he is aware that the contractor appointed by the Iraq Railways as sole agent for canvassing for traffic earned in the 10 months ending 31st March, 1923, more than2½lakhs of rupees; whether he can give the exact amount paid to the contractor for the period in question; and whether it has been found possible to limit payment of commission as suggested by the Comptroller and Auditor-General?
