HC Deb 26 March 1925 vol 182 cc625-6
58. Mr. GROVES

asked the Minister of Health the terms of any Order issued by his Department regulating the standard of quality for imported condensed milk?

Mr. CHAMBERLAIN

The Public Health (Condensed Milk) Regulations, 1923, require that full cream condensed milk must contain 31 per cent. of milk solids, including 9 per cent. of milk fat, and that skimmed condensed milk must contain 26 or 20 per cent. of milk solids, according as it is sweetened or not. I am sending the hon. Member a copy of the Regulations.
