KINL0CH-C00KEasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether his attention has been called 'to the resolution passed by the City Council of Cardiff with regard to the application of the Welsh National Memorial Association, asking that Wales may be treated on the same basis as other local authorities in England with reference to grants; and whether he can make any statement on the subject?
Mr. GUINNESSThe answer to the first part of the question is in the affirmative. The Chancellor of the Exchequer has recently been approached on the matter by the Welsh Parliamentary party, and has asked for further information as to the exact points which it is desired that he should consider.
