Mr. SAMUELThe powers of the Board of Trade in connection with the British Empire Exhibition are laid down in the British Empire Exhibition (Guarantee) Act, 1920, to which I would refer the hon. Member.
§ Captain GARRO-JONESCan the hon. Gentleman say to what extent he has control, in view of the fact that the Board of Trade has to approve of the appointment of the general manager? Is it for a long or a short period?
